Service · Channel connections
How do we connect your sales channels and keep the connection running?
When a room of yours sits for sale on a sales channel but the room count, price and closed dates do not reach the channel, the same room can be sold twice, or a saleable room can stay empty. We connect the channels you choose to your hotel through our contracted connectivity infrastructure. We send availability and price from one calendar to all channels, bring reservations from the channels into the calendar, and check the connection every hour.
- What we do
We connect the channels you choose and match your rooms with the room types on the channel. We send availability and price from one calendar to all channels; reservations that come from a channel drop into the calendar.
- What changes at the hotel
You no longer enter room count and price into each channel separately. A room sold on one channel closes on the others. Your channel contract and your commission stay between the channel and you.
- Possible benefit
The risk of errors from manual updates and of selling the same room twice may decrease. A broken connection can become visible before the end of the month.

Which channels do we connect?
Booking.com, Google's free booking links, and domestic online travel agencies are the channels that run live today; the connection to Expedia is also open. You decide which channel you sell on.
We show the channel types we can connect in our channel catalog: online travel agencies, meta-search engines, wholesale accommodation distributors, and short-stay accommodation platforms. We set up the connection through our contracted connectivity infrastructure; the channel contract is signed between the hotel and the channel.
How do we connect a channel?
We follow the same six steps for each new channel. Once the connection is live, the last step keeps running.
- 1
You choose the channel
You choose the channel you want to sell on. The channel contract is signed between the channel and you; the commission rate is in that contract.
- 2
Connection approval
The channel asks the hotel to approve the connection. We give this approval together with you in the channel's panel.
- 3
We match the rooms
We match each room type in your calendar with the room type on the channel, and each rate plan with its match on the channel.
- 4
First push
We send availability and price to the channel; we read it back to confirm it shows correctly on the channel.
- 5
Reservation flow
The reservation arriving from the channel drops into your calendar; the same room also closes on the other channels.
- 6
Continuous monitoring
We check the connection every hour, and we read back availability and price on the channels every night.
How do we monitor the connection?
Hourly channel health
We check every hour that the connection to each channel is live.
Alarm on a broken connection
If a connection breaks, an alarm lands with us; we record the channel and the time.
Nightly read-back
Each night we read back availability and price on the channels and compare them with the calendar.
Conditional inventory
We deduct a reservation from the calendar only if every night of the stay has a saleable room.
15-minute hold
While the guest completes a reservation on your own page, we hold the room for 15 minutes.
48-hour duplicate check
If the same reservation request comes in again, we do not open a second record; we return the first result.
Who holds the contract and the commission?
The commission sits between the hotel and the channel; we are not a party to this relationship. The rate is set by your channel contract, and the payment is made directly between the two parties of the contract. We set up the connection and run it.
A reservation that comes through your own booking page carries no channel commission. That is why we connect your own page to the same calendar when we bring the channels on.

What is the limit, what do we report?
Delivery to channels is not instantaneous; the short gap between two channels can produce a difference that we look for in the nightly read-back and the checks. The safeguards reduce the risk of selling the same room twice; they do not eliminate it. A working connection also depends on the channel's own system being available.
We write the delays and breaks we see during the month into the system health block of the monthly report: we show which channel and when, with the source. We write “not measured” for items we cannot measure.
