This catalogue introduces the online distribution channels that can be connected to properties through our agreed connection infrastructure. For each channel, the type, target audience and connection method are summarised. The list shows channels that can be connected; it does not claim every channel is active at every property.
Each channel on this page can be connected to a property through our agreed connection infrastructure; a separate account and contract is required at the channel for each property. A channel appearing on this list does not mean it is automatically enabled at every property; each property connects only the channels it chooses. Payment terms are defined in the contract between the property and the channel (commission or net rate model); Faralya is not a party to that payment.
Online Travel Agency
Online travel agencies are distribution channels that bring demand from the general traveller audience to hotels and accommodation businesses. Travellers search, view rates, and book; the property pushes inventory to the channel.
Metasearch Engine
Metasearch engines are search surfaces that show prices for a stay from several sales points side by side. The traveller compares there and completes the booking at the chosen sales point.
Wholesale Accommodation Distributor
Wholesale accommodation distributors are distribution channels that supply inventory in bulk to agencies and travel sellers. The guest stays at the property; the reservation comes to the property via the agency.
Short-Stay Home and Vacation Rental Platform
Short-stay home platforms act as distribution channels for hosts and independent residence providers. Homes, apartments and villas are listed; travellers search and book, availability is pushed to the platform.

- A channel is an online sales point where a property publishes its availability and rates and receives reservations. The channels on this page are channels that can be connected to a property system through our agreed connection infrastructure.
- How does the connection infrastructure work?
- Our agreed connection infrastructure is the layer that carries availability, rates and reservation data between properties and online sales channels. The technical integration between a channel and a property is established through this infrastructure.
- How is a channel added to a property?
- The property must first create its own account at the relevant channel and complete the required contract. The channel is then connected to the property system through our agreed infrastructure, and availability and rate data begins to flow to the channel.
- How is payment determined?
- Payment is defined by the contract between the property and the channel; it may be a commission or net rate model. Faralya is not a party to that payment; the model differs for each channel and each property.
- Is every channel on this list active at my property?
- No. This list shows channels that can be connected; each property only has the channels it has chosen active according to its own business model. If the property has no contract with a channel, that channel is not active at the property.
