Service · Search engine visibility and Google
What do we do so your hotel appears in search engines and on Google?
When a traveler searches for a hotel, they may see the business profile on the map, the results from sites, and booking links on Google. All of these surfaces need to show your hotel's name, address, rooms, and price in the same way. We set up the search engine surfaces of your hotel site, keep your Google Business Profile up to date, and write Search Console data into the report. Visibility in AI assistants is a separate task; we describe it on its own page.
- What we do
We build the page tags, structured data, sitemap, and language pairs of your hotel site from the same input, keep your Google Business Profile up to date, and write Search Console data into the report.
- What changes at the hotel
The information on your site, on your profile, and in the search result comes from the same source. When a piece of information changes, you let us know; we update the input and rebuild all surfaces.
- Possible benefit
A traveler may be less likely to see different phone numbers, hours, or room information in different places. You see search data with its source and track what changes by the number.

Which surfaces of your hotel can a search show?
When a traveler searches for your hotel or for hotels in your area, Google can show several surfaces. Google decides which, where, and in what order to show them. Our work is to make sure these surfaces carry the correct and consistent information.
- Map and business profile: address, phone, opening hours, photos, and directions.
- The search result pages of your site: title, description, and page content.
- Free booking links: a link to your booking page along with the room price for the selected dates.
The search engine surfaces we set up on your site
We build all of these surfaces from the same input. When a piece of information changes, they all refresh together.
Page text and tags
We build the title, description, and share image of each page from the same input as the page text. We write any title or description we find missing.
Structured data
We write the information about the hotel, room types, page path, and frequently asked questions in a machine-readable format. This is the same information that already appears on the page; Google decides whether a separate view comes out in the search result.
Sitemap
We list the pages of your site and their last change dates in a single map. When a page changes, the date changes too.
Language pairs
Each of the Turkish, English, and German versions of your site indicates its own language and the other language versions (language pair tag, hreflang).
Instant notification
When we publish a page, we send a notification via IndexNow. Search engines that support this protocol may learn of the change sooner.
Post-publish check
We check the site after each publish.
What happens when a piece of information changes?
When a piece of information changes — a phone, a room type, or an opening hour — we take the following steps in order.
Google Business Profile
We fill in the profile's name, category, address, phone, site URL, and opening hours fields together with you. We write each field the same as the hotel's signage, site, and official records; we choose the photos with you and add them to the profile.
When the phone or opening hours change, we update the corresponding entry in the profile with you. When the profile, the site, and the booking page carry the same information, a traveler sees the same hotel information no matter which surface they come across.
Free booking links
For some hotel searches, Google shows the room price for the selected dates along with a link to the hotel's booking page. According to Google's documentation, clicks on these links are free of charge.
Appearing on this surface depends on Google's eligibility conditions. Google requires that price data be sent to it and that there is a valid landing page. The Google link is one of our channel links; we re-read availability on the channels every night.
Google also requires that the price you submit matches the price on the landing page. We write the price you approve into your booking page and the connected channels from the same source; this reduces the chance of the two prices diverging.
Measurement with Search Console
Search Console shows which searches your site appears in, how many times it was shown, and how many times it was clicked. We write this data into the visibility block of the monthly report with the source name.
When a measurement cannot be made, we write 'not measured'; we do not write an estimated number. The dependence of visit measurement on cookie consent is described separately on the Measurement page.
Google's share of search
Most search traffic passes through Google; for this reason we set up the profile and Search Console work according to Google.
- 73.42%
Google's share of search traffic in Turkey in September 2026, across all devices.
Statcounter Global Stats · Turkey, September 2026
The figure comes from a sample on a measurement site and varies by month. The remaining share is split among other search engines; our IndexNow notification goes to search engines that support this protocol.
AI searches and the limits of this service
Whether assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity mention your hotel in their answers is a separate measurement task; it is described on the AI visibility page. Google's documentation says no new file, special markup, or special structured data is needed to appear in AI summaries; clicks from these summaries also enter the same Performance report's 'Web' search type in Search Console. The page being crawlable, correct, and consistent is therefore important on these surfaces too.
Google decides the ranking in the search results. We undertake that your pages are correct, consistent, and crawlable; ranking and click count may increase or decrease. Paid advertising is not the subject of this page.
