Service · Campaign and advertising management
Which campaign brought each booking?
Without knowing which reservation each advertising euro returns, raising or cutting the budget is guesswork. We set up, run, and measure your Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) campaigns. The advertising spend is invoiced to you and does not pass through Faralya. We add a tag to each campaign's link; your booking engine records the tag, and you can see which campaign brought each booking.
- What we do
We set up, run, and measure Google Ads and Meta campaigns. We plan the campaigns around periods such as pre-season, last-minute, and events.
- What changes at the hotel
The invoice goes to you; the budget does not pass through Faralya. We add a campaign tag to each advertising link; your booking engine records the tag, and you can see which campaign brought each booking.
- Possible benefit
Spend and bookings sit side by side; stopping a campaign that brings no bookings and moving the budget to another campaign can become easier. A booking completed on your own page carries no sales-channel commission.

How do we run a campaign?
We follow the same six steps for every campaign. The budget does not pass through Faralya at any step.
- 1
We set the goal
We write down together which period or which empty days you want to fill.
- 2
We set up the campaign
We prepare the Google Ads and Meta campaign, the audience, the ad copy, and the destination link.
- 3
We tag the link
Each campaign takes the guest to your booking page with its own tagged link.
- 4
We agree the budget with you
We decide the amount and the split together; the final decision is yours. The spend appears on the platform's own console, and the invoice is addressed to you.
- 5
We read them side by side
We read the platform's spend next to the campaign tag in the booking record.
- 6
We adjust and write it down
We write what we saw in the monthly report to keep, stop, or change a campaign. We write 'not measured' for any item we cannot measure.
Which campaign types do we set up?
We pick the type that fits your hotel's goal for the period and empty days. All campaigns lead to your booking page.
Google search ad
We show ads on Google to people searching for your hotel by name or by a stay query. The ad leads to your booking page.
Meta promotion ad
We set up campaigns on Facebook and Instagram using your hotel's photos and videos.
Meta engagement audience
We re-serve ads to people who have already interacted with your Instagram or Facebook account.
Date-bound campaign
We set up separate campaigns for pre-season, last-minute, and event periods. Each carries its own tag.
How do we make the ad images and videos?
We create the images and videos for the ads with image and video production software. The starting point is always your hotel's own photos and videos. We do not produce images that show a room, a view or a service differently from how it is.
- 1
We gather the material
We bring together real photos and videos of your rooms, common areas and surroundings.
- 2
We produce drafts
We prepare many drafts for the same frame: light, colour, editing, text placement. For each channel's format we produce square, vertical and horizontal versions.
- 3
We make a shortlist
We compare the drafts with reference images we agreed on with you and bring you a shortlist.
- 4
We publish with your approval
The images and videos you approve go into the campaign. A draft you have not approved is not published.
When in the year do campaigns go live?
When a campaign starts depends on your hotel's busy and empty days. The schedule below is one example; we write the calendar with you to fit your hotel.
How do you see which campaign brought each booking?
We add a campaign tag to each campaign's advertising link. When the guest clicks the ad and arrives at your booking page, your booking engine records this tag.
When the booking is complete, the tag appears in the booking record. You see which campaign brought the booking. We read the spend from the platform's own console; we place spend and tagged bookings next to each other and judge the campaign from there.
Budget and invoice
The invoice goes to you
The advertising invoice is addressed to you. The advertising budget does not pass through Faralya.
We agree the amount together
We agree the budget amount and the split between campaigns with you; the final decision is yours.
You see the spend
The spend appears on the platform's own console. We write spend and bookings together in the advertising block of the monthly report.
The ad carries your hotel's name
The ads carry your hotel's name and lead to your booking page. We do not run guest advertising under the Faralya name.
Possible commission difference on direct bookings
When a guest coming from advertising completes the booking on your own page, the sales-channel commission does not appear. Enter your own figures; the calculator shows your annual commission amount and the difference if the share you choose shifts to direct bookings. This is not a promise; it is arithmetic with your numbers.
The default commission rate is the average Booking.com reported in 2017; your rate is the rate in your channel agreement. The shifting share is your assumption, not a measured result. Advertising spend is not part of this calculation; the difference should be read together with the spend.

Where the ad sits and where it ends
On Google, your hotel's booking page may also appear as a free booking link. Google states that clicks on these links are not charged and that ranking is not tied to the offer. This surface is not advertising; we describe it on a separate service page.
We record the campaign tag on the visit that comes from the advertising link. If the guest sees the ad and later opens the site directly by its address, that booking appears untagged; we note this limit in the monthly report.
We do not pin a campaign's outcome to a number in advance. We measure spend and tagged bookings, and we write what we saw.
